The Army ROTC Running club promotes running, camaraderie, and self improvement through weekly practices and races during the year. Runners at all ability levels are encouraged to participate; the goal is to run faster, no necessarily to be the fastest. By promoting a spirit of self improvement together, we hope to create an environment where cadets can come to relax, have fun, and improve their running abilities.
What We Do
By participating in practices and races throughout the year, Army ROTC Running club promotes varied training with the goal of improving the overall fitness of cadets. We compete in the Army 10 Miler every fall, and all cadets in the club are required to complete the race in order to earn club credit. In addition to the Army 10 Miler, we run multiple 5ks throughout the year, which promotes friendship and camaraderie between members of the club. By having fun, we hope to make running an activity that is more accessible and enjoyable to cadets.
Mondays from 1800 – 1900 at the Ranger Room
